We embrace the totality of who God is and how He chooses to reveal Himself. Most everyone in the American Church today is comfortable with God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many avoid or resist a relationship with God the Holy Spirit, often by using our Bible interpretations to put Holy Spirit in a comfortable prison.

At The Well, you will see us both open the Bible and encounter Holy Spirit every Sunday when we gather. We love how God uses the Bible and the Holy Spirit to help us get to know Jesus better. The Holy Spirit is God (the Living Word) and we are designed to know Him, walk with Him, and experience Him everyday. God is specifically revealed in the scriptures (the Written Word), and the Holy Spirit helps illuminate what we read. We embrace the marriage of the Spirit and the Word.

1 Corinthians 2:2-5 "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."
